No boiler plate productions, each portfolio review is individually written by me. Each client who agrees to move through the transitions planning process and is “serious about doing things right financially” will be provided with an individually designed and personalized portfolio and risk management review. The review will focus on the following key areas and others as required: 1. Establishing a purpose for the project. 2. Gathering confidential data to quantify the financial situation from all aspects. 3. Organization of the asset and liability situation. 4. Seriously address the various aspects of risk management i.e. Life, Disability, Long Term Care. 5. Illustrate an inflation adjusted future stream of retirement income based upon client goals. 6. Approach education funding strategies for children, grandchildren or other key individuals. 7. Explore all aspects of charitable giving and legacy planning. 8. Review tax-advantaged savings and investment issues both qualified and non-qualified. 9. Anticipate inheritances and discuss family relationship issues. 10. Review business-owner issues if a business is involved. 11. Organize and review investment assets to properly allocate and define risks. 12. Discuss legal issues such as Trusts, Buy-Sell Agreements, Business Valuations and Wills by establishing a "brain trus"t of competent professionals i.e. legal, accounting, psychological. 13. Provide observations and suggestions that assist in developing and implementing priorities. 14. Publish the review and present it to those who you feel have an interest in its success such as your CPA, Attorney and other family members. 15. Become a source for referrals/recommendations to other professionals who may be needed to accomplish client goals.
